Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: (A) information you provide, (B) information collected automatically, and (C) information from third parties.
A. Information You Provide
Depending on what you do in the Services, you may provide:
- Account details: username, email, password (stored in hashed form if you use a secure authentication provider), profile settings
- Gameplay data you submit: character/avatar customization data, saved preferences, progress, inventory, achievements, in-game currency balance, game settings
- User content: chat messages, support tickets, messages you send us, reports/feedback, screenshots or attachments you upload
- Verification or security info: anti-fraud signals you send (for example, proof-of-completion for rewarded ads, if applicable)
You do not have to provide optional information, but some features may not work without it.
B. Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:
- Device & network information: IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, language, time zone, approximate location (city/region inferred from IP), referral URLs
- Identifiers: cookie identifiers, device identifiers, advertising identifiers (where available), session IDs
- Usage data: pages viewed, actions taken, logins, time spent, crash reports, performance metrics, and diagnostic logs
- Security data: information used to help prevent cheating, abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access
C. Information From Third Parties
We may receive information from:
- Advertising services (including rewarded video): ad impression events, reward completion signals, anti-fraud signals, and basic device/ad identifiers
- Analytics providers: aggregated usage insights and event measurements
- Infrastructure providers (hosting/CDN, DDoS protection): IP-based security signals, request logs
- Login providers (if used): a unique user ID and basic profile info consistent with your login settings (for example, Google/Discord login)

We use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, and similar technologies to:
- Keep you signed in (where applicable)
- Remember preferences
- Operate rewarded ads and help prevent fraud
- Measure usage and performance
- Protect the Services (security and abuse prevention)
Your Choices
You can control cookies via your browser settings. Some features may not function properly if you block certain cookies or storage.
If we use a cookie banner/consent tool, you can also manage your preferences there.
How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the Services (accounts, gameplay, saves, rewards, support)
- Process and deliver rewards you voluntarily earn (for example, rewarded video ad quests)

- Advertising and measurement (show ads, frequency capping, attribution, aggregated reporting)
Legal Bases (EEA/UK and Similar Regions)
If you are in the EEA/UK (or where similar laws apply), we process personal data under these bases:
- Contract: to provide gameplay, accounts, rewards, and support
- Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, analytics, service improvement
- Consent: where required for certain cookies/ads/marketing
- Legal obligation: compliance and lawful requests
You can withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (this will not affect processing already done).
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense. We may share information in these situations:
A. Service Providers
We share information with vendors who help us run the Services, such as:
- Hosting, databases, and storage
- Analytics and crash reporting
- Customer support tools
- Security and fraud prevention
- Content delivery networks (CDNs)
They are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to us.

If you use rewarded ad features, our advertising partner may collect or receive identifiers and device information to:
- Show ads
- Measure ad performance
- Detect fraud/invalid traffic
- Confirm reward eligibility
Rewarded ads are optional—you choose to access the ad-quest page/feature.
C. Legal and Safety
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to:
- Comply with laws or legal process
- Protect rights, safety, and security of users or the public
- Prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Enforce our terms or policies
D. Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction (with appropriate protections).
Advertising, Rewarded Ads, and Game Rewards
Koritsuki may offer ads, including rewarded video ads. If we do:
- You voluntarily choose to watch an ad to earn in-game currency or items.
- We and/or our advertising partner may record ad completion events and anti-fraud signals to prevent duplicate or invalid rewards.
- Rewards may be denied or reversed if systems detect suspected abuse, automated behavior, invalid traffic, or policy violations.
- We may apply cooldowns, daily caps, and eligibility rules to protect the game economy and ad integrity.
- Rewarded ads may not always be available (availability can vary by region, device, time, or inventory).
Ad Partner (current): Google
Google may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and improve ads. Where permitted, Google may serve interest-based (personalized) ads based on information such as your device/browser information, approximate location (derived from IP address), and interactions with ads and our site.
If you access Koritsuki from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we may show a consent message and request your choices before serving certain types of ads, as required by applicable law. Your choices may affect whether personalized ads are shown.
Data Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide the Services
- Maintain accounts and game progress
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce agreements
- Prevent fraud and abuse
Retention periods vary depending on the data type. If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize data unless we need to keep it for legal or security reasons.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for children under 13 (or under the minimum age required by your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
